Our litigation team has thrived by adopting a proactive, commercial and where necessary tough approach to resolving client disputes. We have established links with the top quality sets of barristers’ chambers, forensic accountants and experts enabling us to provide the highest of standards of client care from Claim Form to settlement or trial.
We are willing to consider undertaking claims on a conditional fee agreement basis. We also have
detailed knowledge of the adverse costs insurance market, enabling our clients to insure against the risk of losing.

Clinical negligence
We have a strong track record in the highly specialised field of clinical (medical) negligence work. In recognition of our experience and expertise in this area we hold a Clinical Negligence contract with the Legal Services Commission to undertake publicly funded work, although we are happy to undertake privately funded work as well.
The department deals with a wide a range of cases relating to clinical management including surgical mistakes, obstetric failure, errors of diagnosis and the incorrect prescription of medication. We have particular experience of complex high value matters involving fatal or catastrophic injury resulting from medical error.
